Asian Community Engagement Trust

The Settlor has established this Trust for the charitable purpose of assisting Asian immigrants to New Zealand by providing assistance in areas including, without limitation a. Relieving poverty through access to advice, support, and assistance, to recent immigrants to New Zealand, without limitation: i. Counselling services; ii. Health information, including assisting people to access social services, and health services, including mental health services; iii. Assisting with obtaining sustainable employment; iv. Assistance with obtaining public housing; v. Mediations for family conflicts; vi. Creating social networks; and vii. Providing assistance and support for other family members who provide care for such persons. b. Guidance services aimed at enabling Asian immigrants to settle faster and take up their responsibilities as part of the New Zealand society and so eliminate the possibility of Asian immigrant families being dependant on government social assistance;
