MISSION STATEMENT The Purposes of the Trust are to: a) Promote the Whanganui Region by providing, coordination, funding, publicity, education and marketing as a nationally and internationally recognised location for the production of Art; b) Promote understanding and appreciation of Art through educational activities including exhibitions; symposiums, open studios and other events; c) Arrange, co-ordinate and /or otherwise contribute to “Art Events’ when various Wanganui Artists participate in Open Studios and other activities toencourage people to become involved in Art whether by way of artistic enjoyment, participation, purchase of artworks or otherwise; d) Such other activities associated with Art including artist exchange etc. e) Arranging and facilitating the publication of newsletters, brochures, articles and other printed and electronic medium which the Trustees believe will facilitate the objects set our above.
