The charitable purpose of OMEP Aotearoa New Zealand is to promote and protect the rights of each and every child under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), within New Zealand and internationally as part of OMEP World. In Aotearoa New Zealand we consider the rights of children in the context of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and a child’s connection with their whānau, hapū, iwi and communities/hapori.
