Mission: Andersons Bay Community Kindergarten is a community-based centre. It provides education and care for 32 children over the age of two and up to five years of age. The vision for children is that they will `live their lives following their passions and seeking to make the world a better place'. Our children are competent and confident learners – each with their own mana and individuality. We want them to be eager communicators and contributors. We foster social dispositions and skills so that our tamariki build, maintain and learn with and through relationships with older and younger children and adults. Learning to respect, understand and value difference and fairness is an important part of learning and our teaching strategies seek to open doors to this learning. Our tamariki, whānau, teachers and wider community collaborate as a community of learners to identify aspirations and experiences for learning. We follow the principles of whanaungatanga to build strong relationships

NR
Not ratedSummary-form filing — not enough detail to grade

Charities Services Tier 3 reporting allows charities under $2M revenue to file a simple-format annual return rather than audited financial statements. The return reports totals but not the program/administration split or the line-item detail our template needs. No red flags were detected in what was filed, and revenue is below the $2M Tier 2 boundary where audited accounts become mandatory. A letter grade is withheld rather than assigning one that would be driven by the template-fit, not the charity's operations. The charity's filed figures are shown above, and any structural concerns a donor would want to look at are surfaced separately. (v3.3 — aligned with Charities Services tier boundary; matches Charity Navigator and CharityWatch US practice.)

Reasons to look carefully (1)

These structural observations are drawn from public data and are worth considering before a donation. They are not allegations of wrongdoing, and they don’t affect the charity’s letter grade.

Each signal is a data-driven observation, not a judgement. They fire automatically from the figures filed with Charities Services. A charity can address any of these by filing fuller disclosure or updating its officer register. Methodology: /about/methodology/concern-signals.
