Action Education is Aotearoa’s leading Youth Development organisation who uses Spoken Word poetry to facilitate life changing experiences. Action Ed's kaupapa (mission) is to strengthen identity and develop self-esteem through creative self-expression. Action Ed deliver workshops, programmes, mentoring, and events using Spoken Word Poetry as an effective vehicle for communities to explore who they are, navigate their place in the world and enhance the things which bring meaning and wellbeing to them. They build a skilled community of people to work creatively with young people to facilitate positive youth development practices. The above objectives shall be carried on wholly or principally within New Zealand.
