As Chairman and Founder of Mainfreight, Bruce Plested shares his vision for the Company with the Mainfreight team, bringing a particular focus to quality and culture. His strongly held beliefs relating to the importance of education and recycling/sustainability continue to positively shape the Company's behaviours. Bruce founded Mainfreight in 1978 with a single truck and has built it into an international logistics network. With 47 years at Mainfreight, he remains deeply involved in promoting the company's distinctive culture and long-term thinking approach.
