The purposes of the Trust shall be for charitable purposes which are cultural, philanthropic, or recreational being purposes beneficial to the community principally in the Specified Area. 5.2 So long as the purposes fall within the definition in 5.1, funds may be applied to  Sport and sporting facilities  Arts and cultural activities and facilities  Environmental projects  Education including grants to people from within the Specified Area to further their education at distant establishments  Religious groups  Purposes specifically requested by donors  General community funding  Recreational groups or projects  A Heritage Fund  Any project or activity which benefits the community within the Specified Area 5.3 In interpreting the terms of this Deed: a. The charitable purposes in clause 5.1 shall take precedence. b. All other purposes shall be pursued to further the charitable purposes
