Pukawa Wildlife Management Trust

1. To restore the native bird population, and natural flora in and around Pukawa on the South Western shores of Lake Taupo, and to make a contribution to the national species recovery programmes. 2. To undertake appropriate trapping and baiting of pests; liase with other groups, iwi and local community and DoC over the above aims. 3. Promote local and nationwide awareness of conservation and its benefits. 4. Carry out research and education within the above aims.
