About
(a) To establish and run a quality extracurricular school (using Japanese language) for children in the Canterbury area who fall within the age parameters of compulsory education. (b) To contribute to and maintain the Japanese language ability of those students attending the school. (c) To develop an understanding and appreciation of Japanese cultural heritage. (d) To foster in the students an international spirit and facilitate smooth cultural and educational interaction, respecting and contributing to the culture of both Japan and New Zealand. (e) To offer assistance to Japanese immigrants by providing information and educational support necessary for successful integration into New Zealand society.
