Waihopai Runaka undertakes the roles and responsibilities of manawhenua in our role, and as one of the 18 Papatipu Runaka of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu. It is the purpose of Waihopai Runaka to retore, revitalise and sustain the culture, heritage and marae and effectively invest in the future of the whanau.
