The trustees of the Transport for Disabled Trust shall use from time to time income for the furtherance of the following charitable purposes and objectives within New Zealand. To provide for the transportation and mobility needs of the disabled, elderly, sick or infirm persons who experience difficulty in using existing public and private transport. To endeavour to provide a deemed responsive and door to door transport service for the disabled. To organise, promote, educate and advance public awareness and knowledge of the special needs of the disabled with particular emphasis on transportation and related facilities and to encourage recognition of the needs of the disabled in general.
