## Purpose

We are one of 32,000 Rotary Clubs in more than 200 countries world wide. We conduct projects to address todays challenges, including: Illiteracy Disease Hunger Poverty Lack of Clean Water, and Environmental concerns, whilst encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations. Our Club raises money through member donations and fundraising. It distributes this money to chosen charities, and to support young people through their academic career, by way of donations and scholarships. Our major fundraising activity involves organising an annual charity golf tournament and obtaining sponsorship from local companies.
