(g) To support Tertiary Students and Early Career Geoscientists in their research and to attend geoscience conferences and meetings, by approving Awards and Prizes through the medium of the geological Awards Trust (Inc). (h) To encourage and give recognition to high standards of geoscientific research. (i) To seek the preservation of important geoscientific sites.
